Azteca's sausage and salsa quesadillas recipe is delicious but beware, it can get spicy! The sausage and salsa are both quite hot!
Ingredients
5 Azteca® Flour Tortillas
vegetable oil
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese and/or Monterey Jack
Cheese
1/4 pound pork sausage, cooked & drained
1/2 cup prepared salsa
Directions
- Remove tortillas from refrigerator; set aside.
- Preheat oven to 375° F. Lightly grease a baking sheet with oil.
- Divide both cheese and cooked sausage into 5ths and place on top half of each tortilla.
- Top with salsa.
- Fold tortillas in half over filling. Place on baking sheets.
- Bake 6-8 minutes or until edges of tortillas are light golden brown and cheese is melted.
- To serve, cut tortillas into wedges.
